On a typical shift you will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections. Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports 3+ years on the tools preferred.
