Metal caster wanted in Morgan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Morgan County, Georgia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
