Great opportunity: we are hiring a security officer in Greene County, Virginia. Requirements: • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours • Clean police verification with no criminal record • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area • Control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates • Respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes • Monitor the CCTV screens in the control room Six days a week, one day off.
