Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Spencer County, Kentucky. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
