Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Sabon Birni, Sokoto State. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
