Earthmoving plant operator wanted in Hamblen County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Hamblen County, Tennessee. You will be based on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
