Great opportunity: we are hiring a deboner in New York County, New York. Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
