We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Wheeler County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
