Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Mitchell County, Iowa. You will be based on a residential housing development. Requirements: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Your main tasks: • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
