Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Bradford County, Florida. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors On a typical shift you will glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
