We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Ohio County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Overtime paid at a premium rate.
