Great opportunity: gas service engineer (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in East Ayrshire, Scotland. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion The role involves: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
