Skimming plasterer — Morehouse Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
