Vacancy available: concrete pump mate (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Calhoun County, Michigan. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage We offer $16 per hour plus benefits.
