Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in City of Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 4+ years on the tools preferred.
