Stainless steel welder — Winn Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Winn Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 2+ years on the tools preferred.
