Gas commissioning technician • Mid and East Antrim, Northern Ireland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Mid and East Antrim, Northern Ireland. Day to day you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. £3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
