Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Coos County, Oregon. The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
