Air conditioning service engineer • Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska

Immediate opening: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. You will work at an HVAC contractor's workshop. The role involves charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping. Requirements: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
