Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
