Great opportunity: cold store insulation technician (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Genesee County, New York. You will work at an industrial plant. Your main tasks: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors What we are looking for: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
