Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £110 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
