Fire and safety officer — Geauga County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Geauga County, Ohio. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training The role involves conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
