The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
