Refrigeration technician — Juneau City and Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You will work at a food processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold On a typical shift you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
