CNC milling operator — Borough of Bolton

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Borough of Bolton, England. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Day to day you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
