Tailor machinist — Neath Port Talbot

Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Rotating shifts.
