Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Your main tasks: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. ₦650 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
