Kitchen steward wanted in Queen Anne's County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. You will work in a catering unit. On a typical shift you will hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies. What we are looking for: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
