We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in San Joaquin County, California. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
