Occupational health and safety officer — Lewis and Clark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Lewis and Clark County, Montana. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Meals and transport allowance provided.
