Gas meter installer • Pasquotank County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Six days a week, one day off.
