Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Powell County, Kentucky. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. You should have: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Day to day you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil.
