Bar bender and fixer • Lee County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Lee County, Alabama. You will work at a high-rise construction project. You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
