We are recruiting: safety officer (Lagos State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Ajeromi/Ifelodun, Lagos State. Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Pay around ₦170,000 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
