Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Garrard County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Part-time with flexible hours.
