Great opportunity: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Keweenaw County, Michigan. The job is at an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Day to day you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
