HSE officer — Middlesex County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HSE officer in Middlesex County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Your main tasks: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Full-time, day shift.
