Lifting rigger wanted in Oruk Anam

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a power plant. The role involves establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
