Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in San Bernardino County, California. You will be based in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate You will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case.
