Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin. You will work at a container port. On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
