Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Le Sueur County, Minnesota. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker You will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them.
