Banksman — Caerphilly County Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
