Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Hamlin County, South Dakota. The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
