We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Scurry County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
