Incoming goods inspector — Carver County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Carver County, Minnesota. You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Day-to-day duties: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
