Ladle pourer — County of Ceredigion

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in County of Ceredigion, Wales. The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts We offer £1,900 per month plus benefits.
