Now hiring: rebar worker (Pennsylvania)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Elk County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Full-time with occasional weekends.
