Rebar worker wanted in Buchanan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Buchanan County, Virginia. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
