Occupational health and safety officer — Chelan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Chelan County, Washington. On the job you will handle: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
